When you Land...

Once at the airport, getting to your destination downtown in New Orleans' Central Business District (CBD) is easy with a variety options.

Shuttle Service is available from the airport to hotels for $44/person round-trip. Tickets can be purchased at Airport Shuttle ticket booths located by Baggage Claim. Visit www.airportshuttleneworleans.com for more information.

Uber and Lyft offer pick-up and drop-off service from the airport. UberX, their most affordable non-shared ride service, tends to be more affordable than taxi rides if there are more than 2 passengers. 

Taxis are another option from the New Orleans airport. Taxi rides cost $36 from the airport to the Central Business District and French Quarter for up to two (2) passengers. For three (3) or more passengers, the fare will be $15 per person. All major credit cards are accepted.

General Driving Directions:

From the East:
  • Take I-10 West to Exit 234C (West Bank/Highway 90).
  • Continue on Highway 90 (the Riverfront Expressway) and exit right at Tchoupitoulas/South Peters Street. This is the last exit before crossing the Crescent City Connection bridge.
  • On ground level, stay in the left lane and go to the fourth stop, which is Convention Center Boulevard. You will see the Convention Center in front of you.
  • Turn left on Convention Center Boulevard. The Convention Center is on your right.
From the East:
  • Take I-10 East to the West Bank/Highway 90 Exit (do not continue on I-10 to Slidell).
  • Stay in the right lane and exit right at Tchoupitoulas/South Peters Street. This is the last exit before crossing the Crescent City Connection bridge.
  • On ground level, stay in the left lane and go to the fourth stop, which is Convention Center Boulevard. You will see the Convention Center in front of you.
  • Turn left on Convention Center Boulevard. The Convention Center is on your right.

Parking:

Ample parking is available at the Convention Center for a daily fee. Click here to view a map of available parking. 

In additional, parking is available throughout the downtown New Orleans area. Visit Parking Management Services or Premium Parking for the closest lots and garages and the current rate schedules for your visit.
