I'm interested in holding a meeting in conjunction with the show. How can I gain approval and find meeting space?

ASTRA’s Marketplace & Academy brings together over 3,500 toy industry professionals committed to changing the world through the power play. This presents a prime opportunity for affiliates of ASTRA – exhibitors, corporate supporters, ASTRA members, service providers, industry and nonprofit organizations – to hold meetings and events in connection with the four-day ASTRA Marketplace & Academy.

ASTRA encourages affiliates to take advantage of this opportunity, and has established a set of guidelines to be followed when planning and hosting ancillary meetings during ASTRA’s Marketplace & Academy. All ancillary meetings held in conjunction with ASTRA Marketplace & Academy must adhere to these guidelines, regardless of the meeting location. Click here to review our policy and apply for ancillary meeting space.

Can I bring my child with me?

Children 13 and up may attend the Full Conference and all of the associated events at the same rate as the adults they attend with. Children 12 and under are allowed to attend the trade show and the Opening Reception, but are not allowed on the trade show floor during set up and are not able to attend any educational sessions, including Kit Session and Game Night. Can I bring a guest to the Opening Reception?

Absolutely! Additional Opening Reception tickets may be purchased ($50 for adults and $25 for children) through online registration.

Where is the show located this year?

We're in New Orleans this year at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center at 900 Convention Center Boulevard.

What hotel is the headquarter hotel this year? Where can I book my room?

Our headquarter hotel is the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. You can find information to book your room at the headquarter or any of our other contracted properties on our website here.

What airport do I fly in to? How do I get from the airport to my hotel or the convention center?

Louis Armstrong Airport is the most convenient for our location. Once you land, there is a shuttle service, as well as taxis, rideshares (Uber/Lyft) and car rentals, available. Find more information about travel on our site here.

Where can I rent a motorized scooter?

Scooters can be rented at the UPS Store in Lobby F of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for $50/day. 72-hour advanced reservation is recommended.

Can I get a refund on a cancelled registration?

Refunds are only available to Full Conference registrants if requested before May 1, 2018. A $75 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations. All refunds will be issued within 90 days after the convention. Substitutions from the same company will be permitted with the required business credentials. Read our full cancellation policy here.
